Real Carers was founded by husband and wife Dr. Tony Adjeh, a family physician, and Bola Adjeh, a nurse. After years of caring for patients, they saw how much families want to keep loved ones at home, and how hard it can be to find care that is both kind and clinically sound. Real Carers is their answer: real care, where you want it.

So they built it. Real Carers combines the warmth of a family business with the standards of a medical team. Every care plan is designed by clinicians, every caregiver is trained and supported, and every family gets a real person on the phone
We are a Calgary family business based in the southwest, serving the city and surrounding communities.
Tony is a family physician. He designs our clinical protocols, guides our nurses when situations are complex and leads our staff education on dementia, falls, infection warning signs, diabetes and palliative care.
Our CEO and Medical Director is a family physician. He designs our clinical protocols, advises our nurses when situations are complex, and personally teaches our staff to spot the early warning signs of falls, infections, dementia changes and diabetes problems. He also offers physician services at home, such as driver’s medicals and Disability Tax Credit forms
Bola is a nurse. She oversees every care plan, supervises our caregivers and nurses, and makes sure every client receives safe, respectful and consistent care.
Our Director of Care is a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN, BScN). She leads every client assessment, oversees each care plan, and supervises our caregivers and nurses, so every client receives safe, respectful and consistent care
